FAQS

Q. How does the procedure work?

A. We first have you read and review our informed consent waiver. After agreeing and signing the waiver we use a teeth whitening guide as a starting point to find what shade your teeth are before the treatment. We then have you use a fingerbrush to clean any adulterants off of your teeth. Once teeth are clean, we give you a Vitamin E swab to rub on your gums, protecting them from any damage or irritation. We then give you our double sided mouth piece with our FDA approved  carbamide peroxide gel prefilled in the mouthpiece. We will position our LED accelerating light to the mouthpiece for two or three sessions.

Once the session is complete, you will rinse your mouth and we will use our whitening shade guide to show you how many shades brighter your teeth whitened. Simple, easy, and painless!

Q. How long does this process take and what are the results?

A. Results can vary as everyone is different but likely results for any client is brightening your teeth by 4-6 shades in 3 session until complete 1 hour.

Q. How long will the results last?

A. 6 months to 1 year is typical but depends greatly on lifestyle.  If you drink coffee, tea, red wine and soda on a daily basis your results may not last as long as someone who only drinks water. Clients who use tobacco of coffee daily on a daily basis should expect results to last 3-6 months.

Q. Is the procedure safe?

A. Research has shown that if the teeth and gums are normal and healthy there are no adverse effects to whitening one’s teeth. Sensitivity is common following the treatment but does fade within 24 hours.

Q. Will the procedure whiten my crown?

A. No. The standard procedure is to whiten all adjacent teeth, wait two weeks for the color to stabilize, then go to your dentist and have him match the crown to the new shade of your teeth. On the contrary, if a crown has already been in place for many years the whitening process can return the rest of the teeth to the original shade prior to the crown placement. The same is true for composites, bridges, and veneers.

Q. Is the gel and peroxide in your product the same as that from my dentist?

A. Yes. The solution is extremely common in dental offices and our distributor is one of the largest whitening product manufacturers in the world and supplies a great deal of product to dental offices worldwide. The key to the success of our professional whitening procedure is our accelerating LED light which increases the potency of whitening in a fraction of the time and cost.

Q. Is this procedure done by a dentist?

A. This is a cosmetic procedure and is provided by a teeth whitening professional, not a dentist.

Q. Are there side effects?

A. Some people may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or sensitivity, all of which are normal and not harmful.
